Use the drop-down menus below to enter the size of your pool in litres and your utility rate. Utility rates can be found on your electric company’s website or monthly bill. However, please note that there is often a difference between the rate appearing on your monthly bill and the true cost. The true cost is actually higher when you add user fees, taxes, distribution charges and surcharges, as well as accounting for rates that are graduated as usage increases—in many areas, as energy use increases, so does your rate per kilowatt hour. For the most accurate savings estimates, it is recommended you enter a utility rate that is 5¢ higher than the quoted rate from your utility. Or, best of all, calculate your effective rate by taking your total monthly bill and dividing by the total kilowatt hours consumed during the period.

Select Comparison Pump kilowatts and Hours of Operation
Enter the kilowatts rating of the pump you would like to compare against IntelliFlo/IntelliPro. All comparative pump data is for single-speed, energy efficient models (most common). Also enter the hours per day you are running, or would plan to run, a comparative pump. Your selections will trigger automatic calculations for the number of times pool water circulates (turns) through the pump each day, as well as the hours of operating time for a single turn (as recommended by the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals).
